When
our puppies are born, we handle them from the first day. They
are treated with love as you would a new born child. At three
weeks old we start them on canned dog food and as soon as
they can walk good, we start training them to walk on a leash.
They are all trained to walk an a leash before they go to their new
homes. If the new owners provide us with a name, we will
start them on learning their name. We provide them with the
best care as we only want to provide good healthy puppies.
All of our puppies get a vet check on the seventh week and
are ready to go to their new homes at eight weeks. Check out
our health program below.
Deworming
is the biggest part of having healthy puppies. In order to
have healthy puppies, we must have healthy adult dogs. We
have a strict deworming program and we work very hard to
protect our dogs against worms. The following schedule is
what we do to protect our adult dogs.
1)
Flea control= Once a month we treat entire dog pen area to
prevent flea infestation. Paying close attention to bedding
and any shaded areas where the dogs are likly to lay. We use
cedar shavings for bedding and this seems to help control the
fleas.
2)
Fly control= We spray once a month for fly prevention. We
also keep a bug light on year round to help with insect
control.
3)
Hygene= We keep fresh water for the dogs. We have our water
containers up high enough that they dont try to get in them
and we keep them cleaned out on a regular basis. We make sure
the water is fresh and not comtaminated. We keep our dry food
in a old freezer. Sounds strange, but it keeps it fresh. We
also keep the bedding changed on a regular basis and keep it
clean. When puppies are born, we clean the whelping box
immediately after the birthing is over. Then we clean it once
daily .
4)
Worm Prevention= We treat our dogs once a month to prevent
worms. This treatment is for the prevention of intestinal
worms and heart worms.
Our
Puppies are treated at two weeks of age. Then every two weeks
until twelve weeks then again at 16 weeks and once a month
from then on. At three months they are started on heart worm
prevention. Heart worms are transmitted by mosquito bites. We
want to do everything we can to prevent our dogs from getting
heart worms.
We
keep our dogs vaccinations current. Once a year they are
vaccinated with the booster shot and a rabies shot. Our
puppies are vaccinated at six weeks with "The Puppy Shot"
A copy of the recommended vaccinations will come with your
puppy so you can be sure to get all of it's shots when they
are due.
In
January 1998 AKC voted to begin the voluntary DNA
certification program. With this certification you can
positively identify your dog. If the parents of your dog were
DNA certified then you can also positively identify them as
being the true parents of your dog. I think this is a big
step for AKC and will aid in maintaining breed standards and
will ensure the integrity of the registry.. This will
elliminate untrust worhty breeders form registering puppies
with a champion sire when in fact he is not the sire. I think
this will be a big help for people looking to buy a puppy.
The cost of DNA certification is only $40.00 and will be
worth every penny of it. AKC suports this and we do to. When
I sell puppies, the buyer will recieve a DNA test kit with
their puppy.
We
feel our health program is so effective that we put a
guarentee on our puppies. We Guarentee that all of our
puppies will be healthy and free of any life threatening
health problems. We recommend you get a vet check with in
three business days of recieving your puppy, if your puppy
has any problems contact us immediately. We will replace the
puppy with another of egual or greater value. If no puppies
are available, you will recieve top priorty on the next
litter. If at OUR DISCRETION we decide that we can not
provide you with a suitable replacement, we will refund all
of your purchase price. We also Gaurentee that the puppy you
recieve will be what we say it is. We gaurentee that the
paper work is accurate and the parents listed are the true
parents of the puppy.

Our

the list. At that time a $50.00 deposit is required to
reserve your puppy. This allows me to reserve you the puppy

If
you will pick up your puppy, balance is due in guarenteed
funds (cash, cashiers check or money order)when
you pick up the puppy.
If
you need shipping, Balance is due in guarenteed funds (cashiers
check or money order) 5 days prior to shipping date. This
allows me time to make all arrangements for shipping.
Shipping cost $250.00. Shipping includes an air line approved
pet carrier, Health certificate, Air line tickets and
insurance. We ship by Delta Cargo and they do have climate
control holding areas and shipping compartments. However due
to exposure during loading and unloading, we do not ship if
the temperature is below 45*F or above 85*F. These are limits
set by Delta and we feel that the safety of our puppies is
important enough to stay with in these temperature ranges. We
do appoligize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the
safety of the puppy must come first.
