Who We Are

Stitchihatchie Creek

We Are Rondy and Barbara Bryan. We live outside of Dexter, Georgia on ten acres with Stitchihatchie Creek running across the back of it. By The way that is pronounced Stitch ee Hatch ee. I was told Cherokee Indians lived here and that is where the creek got it's name. However I can not find anyone that really knows what the word "stitchihatchie" means.

We have 11 dogs in all. We have a poodle that weighs six pounds and thinks she weighs a hundred. We have a Min Pin that is a total disaster. She can run out the door before you know it. She loves the bloodhounds and when they have babies she wants to babysit when the mom is out to take care of business. We have two strays that just showed up here and we couldn't bare taking them to the pound to just end up being put to sleep. And we have seven bloodhounds, four red females, one black and tan female and two black and tan males. They are all a handful and we love each and every one of them.

We don't have any children so our dogs are our children. We take very good care of them and love them very much. We spend as much time with them as we can.
